The Cape Winelands are one of the oldest wine-producing regions outside Europe, with more than 300 years of history and some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the country. A typical day covers three or four estates across Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl — the three most famous appellations. You'll usually start with a morning tasting and cellar tour, break for lunch at an estate restaurant, and finish with a late-afternoon tasting before the drive back to Cape Town.

Because the tour is private, you choose the estates. First-time visitors often want a mix — a historic property like Boschendal or Vergelegen, a modern architectural estate like Delaire Graff or Waterkloof, and a smaller family-run winery. Wine enthusiasts sometimes prefer a deep dive on a single varietal or a specific sub-region. Tell us what interests you and we'll build the day.
